Daemon Tools es  una utilidad para crear unidades virtuales en tu disco duro y emular las protecciones físicas de algunos CD-ROM y DVD-ROM.

DAEMON Tools is an advanced application for multiprotection emulation. It is further development of Generic Safedisc emulator and incorporates all its features. This program allows running Backup Copies of SafeDisc (C-Dilla), Securom, Laserlock, CDCOPS, StarForce and Protect CD (and many others) protected games. Daemon Tools crea una unidad virtual (máximo 4) como si se tratase de un reproductor más de DVD o CD,  podrás cargar imágenes de CD o DVD (CUE, ISO, CCD, BWT, NRG, PDI, B5T, ISZ, MDS y CDI) emulando protecciones como Safedisc, Laserlock o Securom.
