VirtuaWin 4.1 es una aplicación que permite crear y manejar escritorios virtuales en Windows (Win9x/ME/NT/Win2K/XP/Win2003/Vista)., habituales en Linux.
La utilización de este tipo de espacios reduce la cantidad de ventanas abiertas en el escritorio.
Para intercambiar los escritorios sólo es necesario hacer clic con el botón izquierdo sobre el icono del programa, que está situado en la barra de sistema.
Desde su explorador de ventanas abiertas es posible acceder de forma directa a cualquier programa que tengamos abierto, sin tener que recorrer el resto de los escritorios.
El icono de VirtuaWin cambiará de apariencia según el Escritorio en el que se esté situado. El icono por defecto sólo funciona con los cuatro primeros Escritorios.
